WOYWW....

Hello fellow snoopers WOYWWers.  I have been AWOL for a few special days over the weekend so if you've blogged anything special and I've missed it then I'm sorry.

We had a long weekend with all our gorgeous family [yes, all 13 of us :-) ] at Centre Parcs up in the lake district.  When we arrived it was cold and very very wet.  It was raining/snowing/sleeting and the wind would cut you in two.  Thankfully the weather only got better and we had an amazing weekend together.  We made many very special memories and saw lots of nature around us.  I will be sharing more about our weekend in my Friday's smiley post so if you'd like to hear more and see a few snaps please call by later in the week.

Of course today you are here to see my desk and of course there isn't a lot for you to see but here is a snap of this week's knitted squares.

My squares are wonderful for stress busting while we are still waiting for a moving date....things are progressing with the new bungalow and I am constantly being the driving force to get a quick turn round but these things take their time!

As I have little to share with you creatively I am also sharing my pot of little garden treasures that we will be taking to our new home with us.  There are lots of snowdrops all round the garden here but I didn't see any at the new bungalow so I have potted up just a few to take with us....I am guessing in years to come the twins will be hunting for these little treasures to pop up in their new home  :-)

Hope you all have a great week.  Thanks for calling by and for all you lovely comments.
Hugs,
Annie x

Lovely snowdrops and isn't it fab to pass on plants. We have some snowdrops that came from Mr Bs late aunt and lots of plants that remind me of various friends and family.

  8. How wonderful that you all went away together - the best thing!!! You are doing so well with all your squares. I have the grand total of 5. I started to use another yarn that someone from knitting group sent in. I really don't like it. Rather rough and makes me itchy. Think I am going back to my own. Happy WOYWW Anne x #53

  18. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog earlier. I love those pretty squares you've been knitting. Buying and selling and moving house are so frustrating. We reached a point with mum where we thought it would never happen and then - suddenly it was all systems go!!! Do hope things move for you soon. I love those snowdrops by the way and the pretty blue pot they are in! Julie Ann xxx

  19. Soft colours are pleasing to the eye when knitting. Brings back memories of my mother sitting in her chair happily knitting away.
We too are seeing the beauty of the snowdrops right now. Looking forward to the next seasonal floral display.

  23. Hi Annie,

Your crochet squares look nice. One of these days I'm going to teach myself to crochet. I even bought a book!

The snowdrops are beautiful. Are they a bulb and do they spread?

I can't wait for you to settle into your new bungalow. I remember the exterior and thought it absolutely adorable.

Thank you for visiting me already. I'm slowly making my way around.

    Happy belated WOYWW

  25. Not only are those squares stress busters, so is a weekend away with family. So delighted to read you were able to have that time together away from the stresses of the world.

I would have potted some of those snowdrops up, too. They are really stunning, especially since I'd never seen them before I first saw them on your blog. Thanks for dropping by earlier in the week. Sounds like your weather got better just as mine was getting cold and nasty again.

  26. Sounds like you had a wonderful time away. I can't believe how long it's been since doing woyww and talking to you. It's great that you have now sold up and I hope the moving date will be soon. I love that your taking some flowers with you. I love the knitted squares. I am starting going strong with my crochet and am now in a crochet club online doing a secretary blanket with lots of new techniques and I'm really loving it. Happy Woyww :-) Kezzy xxx
