WOYWW...

I could say in answer to what's on my work desk for this week...pretty much the same as last week.....but with a few changes.  :-)

I have a to do rail full of shirts to take in for my 1285th customer!  The numbers keep climbing and I have a feeling if we ever get to this new bungalow they may well climb further as it is opposite a school  so lots of potential new customers :-) ....but I've still no more news to share on the house moving date.

The same pile of knitted squares as last but, wow, look how it's grown...it's now twice Mitzy monkey's height!
There is definitely girl colours and boy colours too so they may well be made into two blankets  :-)

The same little knitted hoodie but I have now completed a back, two cable knit fronts and am now knitting both sleeves....yes I like to knit them both together  :-)

So there you go...a very similar desk but progress has been made.  I had the twins Monday, Tuesday and they are here again to play today so I will try to catch up on you if and when they have naps later.  Have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x

  7. Hello Annie - must admit every week I am excited wondering if you will say you have a date to move. It is hard waiting isn't it. I've made my first square to your pattern ( looks a bit rectangular but I think will be ok if I block it) Happy WOYWW Anne x #63

  12. Love the hoodie but then cable has always been a favourite knitting stitch. I remember making a lovely cotton cardi years ago, all different cable stitches in squares. Took an age but it's always worthwhile.
Thanks for visiting already, glad my 'emergency' craft purchases made you giggle.

    Happy WOYWW

  13. 1285 customers! Wow Annie, you go girl! How marvellous. And how many alterations is that! Blimey, congratulations! I love the knitting of both sleeves at once...multi tasking and a cast iron guarantee that they'll be the same length!

  14. Thanks for stopping by, it's 29 here and we went out !! So bright with sunshine, almost like spring. I am hoping you have a room for all your sewing needs when you move !! Love all the yarn work, sentimental I guess, my grandma always had a project to work on. And now our yarns are so improved ! and pricy
    Enjoy the week

  17. WOW! Well over a thousand and on your way to two! Love the squares and I am fascinated with how fast you knit. Love the green sweater and thats an awesome idea to knit both sleeves at the same time! Have a great week. Vickie aka Okienurse #111

  18. Well done you, Annie. All those customers! The squares pile is growing well - and seeing you knitting that little cardigan reminded me that I, too, always used to knit both sleeves at the same time. A bit harder now that all my knitting is for adult sizes - but a good reminder.
Have a great week. Trust you hear soon re the house move - it is just so difficult to keep coping with everything packed up!! been there, done that, and got several frustrating tee shirts!

  22. How many customers? Wow, that's a lot of sewing you have done.
Great knitting on display and the crochet squares look awfully pretty.

  23. It must be so frustrating to still be hanging on with the move. I think I would have given up on the whole things by now. I like knitting sleeves together as well. It does make sure you get them the same length, at least. Hope you get some good news about your move this week. xx Maggie #2
