One of my good buddies is starting up doing crafty workshops and today that, much older, sister of mine and I are playing guinea pigs for her. We are making a bag following her instructions and helping her to tweak it all before she takes her first proper class. I've managed to get some real fun fabric off ebay and have all my pieces cut out ready. As they say....watch this space.....I will surely do a show and tell when the bag's finished.
So here you go this is my T for Tuesday for this morning....
- My essential morning medication
- Wholemeal toast with diabetic marmalade
- My morning coffee in one of Mum's pretty fine bone china mugs today...it would have been her birthday this week
- My beautiful sunflowers that Jo brought me to celebrate Mum's birthday with...thought you'd like to share them too.
For more T for Tuesday posts just follow this link to Elizabeth's and have fun.
Hugs,
Annie x
Longing to see the bag. Hope it's less mind-blowing than the book!

Beautiful sunflowers. Not sure I've ever had them as cut flowers. Enjoy your bag making day. It would be a real challenge for me, but you will sail through I am sure. Kate x
ReplyDeleteOh how cheery your sunflowers look and the bone china mug is a riot of colour too! Have fun with the fabric, will be looking forward to seeing the end results!

ReplyDeleteHello, I'm stopping by from Elizabeth's. How lovely your sunflowers and tea cup are. What a nice thing for your hubby to do. Enjoy the fun day out crafting and hope you will share the bag with us. Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh at that MUCH OLDER SISTER comment. Better be careful, or she might not share more sunflowers with you next time. The sunflowers are really lovely, though. Leave it to Jo to grow some award winning beauties like these.
ReplyDeleteHave fun being a guinea pig today. Hope to see the finished result soon.

ReplyDeleteWOW all about sunflowers this week. Decided to join the T-Tuesday posting this week after trying to catch up with the WOYWW from last week. Think I will give up. Hope you had a great day and had a lot of fun! I do similar and remember my Mom on her days...birth and death...two things no one shares with her. Mom died in 1989 and it is sometimes a bitter sweet day of memories.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunflowers! Nice looking breakfast. Hope your day was truly fun!
ReplyDelete"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
ReplyDeleteYou make me happy when skies are grey"....go on, I bet you sang it when you got those beauties!
lots of love
