WOYWW.....

Whoops is it Wednesday?  My oh my I'm not gonna miss out on my usual fun even if all is chaos here today   :-)

I will now go and snap what is on my desk today....

Oh exciting times ahead....My darling hubby has treated me to a set to do lino cutting and printing with so that's what's sitting on my desk waiting for play time.
  • Will I be using it today?..........Nope
  • Why not?.......cos I am baking, laying special tables and preparing the house for all my wonderful family to come this afternoon for our family festive get together.
  • Will I be able to do my rounds of all your blogs today?.....Probably not but I will do my best to catch up with you all very soon.
I just have to say I really hope you are all having a wonderful festive time....I know I am  :-)
I will be back soon.

Love and hugs,
Annie x

  3. SNAP! - I got a lino cutter and a couple of lino sheets to make my own stamps from my DH. Tried the cutter on an eraser and I think there must be a knack, so any tips would be appreciated. Have a happy New Year BJ#15

  10. Hi Annie. i haven't done a lino cut since I was about eleven, but I bet you'll have fun giving it a go. Have a wonderful time with your family. I decided against the weekly blog hop today in favour of a walk with hubby and the dogs along a deserted but sunny beach. In a minute we are off for one more carol-singing session on Vera plaza.

  22. Trust you enjoyed time with your family. Looks like you are in for lots of fun when you start your lino cutting. I haven't found my desk for four days - too full to the brim with everything the family brought, towels for them to use.....etc. Now they have left us after a fabulous, noisy, messy, crazy time together. Will miss them now they have gone home, but it's been good to celebrate Christmas all together in Wales.

  23. I learned lino printing back in grade school, when art classes were a regular part of elementary school and not "specials" where they don't learn anything at all like nowadays. I still have my brayer from college, no less! I was just thinking of getting some blocks and having a go at it again (not knowing that it's the "in thing" atm, lol).

Hope you had a great time with your family--you live right where I want to move to...ah, dreams...

    Cheers,
