Another week has gone and we creep even closer to Christmas....Most of my cards are now made, written and sent :-) It's been a busy week of festivities too.
15 of us went on the Llangollen Santa train on Saturday.
You should be able to click on the pics for a closer look if you'd like to......happy memories were made :-)
I have also been busy sewing and crafting this week.
These are 3 of the 5 little mice I made this week that are already on their way to a new home in Belgium as I type. :-)
Some of you gave me inspiration last week for a new feltie but I bet you have 'no eye deer' what this is :-) :-) :-)
Of course you just knew it was a little reindeer didn't you? Here he is finished and he is now sitting on the feltie shelf over in the shop waiting for a new home for Christmas.
The last pic I have to share with your today is of Rocky and Wispa with their new hair cuts....yes of course their cushions have now been put by the radiator cos since they had their trims the weather has turned very cold here....it was -3 here this morning and guess what?
....our central heating boiler started throwing out black smoke Monday afternoon so the heating had to go off til it's fixed!!! Brrrrrrr
Well folks that's all from me for today. Hope you have enjoyed your visit and are all well and happy and looking forward to Christmas now. If you leave me a comment I will pop over to say hello in between my sewing jobs. Have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x
oh my...love your felties, had to go check out the rest of your creations...LOVE them! oh such talent! I bought this dancing lady ornament at a bazaar last week and thought of you. Send me your email address and I will send you a picture of it. It is painted fabric with wool.felt hair...super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, love the photos with Santa ... it is my experience that little ones don't know what to think of the big man in the red suit. My son screamed at his first sight of St Nicholas in a German supermarket I recall. Your little mice are adorable and I just love the reindeer. It was -4 here yesterday morning ... I haven't ventured out to check today's temperature yet. Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #32
ReplyDeleteYes well at least the twin didn't wee on Santa's lap like someone I know!! Lovely pics and little Rudi is cute!
ReplyDeleteBwahahahaha, sorry to laugh but that's hilarious - is it Lexi trying to escape from the fat man in the red suit? One to keep for when grown up I think :)
ReplyDeleteLove Rudi - totally sweet Annie. And I bet people don't know that the adorable little mice even have sweet little whiskers! Ours have settled in fine here :)
Hugs and Happy WOYWW, Di xx
It looks like you have been getting into the festive spirit, Annie.
ReplyDeleteLove your Rudolph with his heart nose.
Why does the heating always break down on the coldest day of the year?? Hope you get it fixed very soon so that you can be all toasty again.
Happy WOYWW

I think this is a 'No (B)rein' deer of a puzzle. What with those antlers that look a bit like little twigs, could this be a festive picture of Twiglet?

ReplyDeleteLove the reindeer, so cute, but not as much as the dollies that came through the post yesterday, two beauties.
Thanks

ReplyDeletegreat photos and I love the little reindeer! trace x #9
ReplyDeleteI love your santa photos...I really must sort that out for next year. I adore steam trains so combining that with santa would be perfect. I just need to be more organised and think about it several months in advance! Your felties are gorgeous and your little dogs are cute! Thanks for sharing. Caro x #46
ReplyDeleteOh what a good time you all must have had on that train! Me and my DBF are big train fans, so we wouldn't mind going - your mice and the "no eye deer" ( loved that wordplay) are just sooo cute!
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs,
Cardarian
Love Rudolph! He's great - you are really clever with the felting. Trust you manage to get your heating fixed soon - it's too cold to be sitting around with no warm radiator to snuggle up to.

How fab to have pics of everyone with Santa. We saw him in a store the other day and my 4 year old was not going within 10 yards of him!
ReplyDeleteDoggies are just too cute too.

Really really love the mouses their so cute and their outfits are beautiful. Love all the pics of the kids on the sleigh they all look so cute if not a bit confused lol. Oh so loving Mr Rudolph :-) I still have most of my crimbo cards to do I can't believe all yours are done. I shall hopefully get them sent before the last post. Did you get my text this morning? I need to go as I'm falling asleep. Shall catch up later as I want to catch up with Fridays smiles posts. Happy Woyww lots of hugs Kerry xxx
ReplyDeleteIsn't that typical? Coldest week of the year and your boiler goes! Our's started playing up on Sunday too but it is only the "auto" aspect that has gone, we can still switch it on manually, plumber coming tomorrow. Lovely photos of the dogs, our Rosie (cat) can be found lying on any carpet as long as a hot pipe is near by.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time on the Llangollen railway. Love your sweet mice and Rudolph is a cutie.
Hope your heating is soon fixed.

Well Annie my love, if you had long legs (like I am 5'9" and a bit) I could lend you my cerise ski suit - all nicely padded etc. to keep you warm. Seriously, no fund with no boiler, hope they come quickly to it.
ReplyDeleteLove the mice and the little Rudolph, and of course the pictures of the day on the train. Also love love love your new header.
Take care
Hugs, neet xx 2

How lovely to have a Santa attraction like that to take the children along to. I can see where Lexie is coming from - neither of my boys ever like Father Christmas when we took them - and so I never forced them either. They only needed to refuse once - I never put them through it again - you wouldn't think they could be so traumatised would you - of course, they don't believe me when I tell them now! We did have the Thomas the Tank Engine attraction near us on the Midlands Railway line - I think it was a Christmas thing - the boys definitely liked that though.
ReplyDeleteThe animals definitely know where to find the warmest spots in the house... just ask my cat. It's also the most inconvenient one too!!!
Lovely pics as always
