What a difference a couple of days makes...

We all had a lovely weekend here with lots of special family times to celebrate Father's Day.

This is a pic of my darling hubby....one very happy Granddad as you can see.  The twins' Daddy was away on his stag weekend so he missed his first Father's day but he actually missed a lot more than that.  While he was away Lexi decided she could crawl...there really is no stopping her now so I shall have to look out tomorrow when they come to play for the day.  Also they are learning to work as a team....

Last night Lexi learnt to pull herself up to her feet to get into their toy box and was more than happy to assist her brother to get there too  :-)
Sam just uses his sister to pull himself up too and Lexi thinks it's so funny.  I have a feeling a whole new world has just opened up to them  :-)

Does anyone have an extra pair of spare hands and a set of eyes I can put in the back of my head?  I have a feeling I shall be needing them tomorrow.  :-)

  1. They are adorable, and I wish you luck! I am just waiting for my 1yr old grandson and though I am fit and healthy he sure keeps me going now that he is crawling too. Brilliant, adorable, amazing....and shattering! I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with two of them. x

  2. Annie, I mind 23 month old twin girls, three days a week. Once they started the teamwork things became much more challenging.

My only advice is - do not plan to do anything other than watch these little treasures while they are with you. They seem so know when you are distracted.

Enjoy them, they are growing fast.

  4. Oh Annie they are just so adorable and growing so fast. Double trouble are the words that spring to mind - they will definately keep you on your toes from now one. Enjoy.

  5. There’ll be no stopping them now Annie. You’re going to have to move everything to higher shelves I think!

It’s so lovely to hear that are making so much progress, especially after such a shaky start. What a shame that their daddy missed such a mile stone though.

  7. Hi Annie,

They are adorable! And what a team they make..... yep, I'd say you'll need eyes in the back of your head REAL soon.

    Very sweet.

I'm glad you're feeling better - hope the cough goes away soon.

    Hugs,
    Kay

  8. When I was a teacher the kids thought I had eyes in the top of my head so I can lend you those now I don't need them.
Oh dear, a new chapter with the twins and one which will be full of events now that Lexi has learned to walk, love how they work together with Sam pulling up through her.
    Charming pictures.
    Hugs, Neet xx

  9. Ohh they are just so gorgeous ... You will need more than an extra pair of hands and eyes. I would be building a wall around those two cuties.
