You've seen those around ~ unless you never leave comments. You probably
have them on YOUR blog and lots of you don't even know it! Do us ALL a favour and turn them off!
They really are very difficult to read and I love leaving you comments.
Here is a very good post about this topic with great instructions on how to change your settings.
Do you know Annie, I have for ages resisted asking people to doo this because Ive felt it's none of my business, but oh my word, this new word verification is hideous, time consuming and awful. So with you!
ReplyDeleteMine's done Annie....it drives me nuts on other blogs!
ReplyDeleteI agree, BUT, your comment on my blog was the most helpful, as I thought mine were turned off!
ReplyDeleteI find them incredibly difficult to read, and very slow, so I shall now leave comments for others to know too.
I agree Annie, they are very annoying. Mine are turned off I think, will ask my daughter (who also has a blog) to check for me xxx
ReplyDeleteYikes Annie - am sure mine's turned off?
ReplyDeleteDid you know that Mrs A only hopped into the duck pond on a pogo stick this week - mucking around in the snippets playground. She didn't ought to be let loose! :) I almost wet myself laughing I must admit!!

Yep, I agree with you girls too.
ReplyDeleteMy eye sight hasn’t been as good as it was since having the detached retina and I find these new word verifications next to impossible to read. I’m afraid that if I come across a blog that has these turned on now I just don’t leave a comment. It’s just as easy to modify yourself and at least that way you don’t moss anyone that visits you.

I agree this should be turned off - as someone who struggles with dyslexia I find word verification a real pain and often it stops me leaving comments as I cannot get it right and trying to listen to the letters doesnt work for me either. Hope other turn it off x
ReplyDeleteI agree... they pee me off. I have deleted mine and it is so easy to comment when there is none of that crap of email.... name.... URL. Okay there are the professional bloggers who would get a lot of spam but if you only have a few followers...... WHY would you do it???? I love you and your sister's blog and I even may be a follower. xo
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
