This week I've ...
- Had a trip to London to see Les Miserable...yes I actually took a day off to go :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
- Made numerous more little dresses
- Posted our latest 50 dresses to Louise [do check out the pic below for the wow factor]
- Cut out yet more little dresses from the latest donations of fabric
- Picked fresh veg from the garden and tomatoes from the greenhouse
- Knitted two fronts and started on the sleeves of a little cardie for one of the twins
- Paced the floor on Monday night cos M was having contractions!!! At 32 weeks I don't think so!!!! Thankfully after a full assessment it was decided she had a wee infection and it was irritating her uterus so a course of antibiotics was started and she was sent home....thankfully she is now much better.
- Oh and I've worked [sewn for real money :-) ] each and every day apart from Friday of course.....customer numbers keep rising and I've got well over 1100 now!
- Nearly forgot ....I've done a bit of cooking, baking bread, washing, ironing and cleaning etc in my spare time.
Customers sewing.....I've had some really lovely skirts and dresses to alter this week.
The latest donation of bedding to make little dresses given to me by another of my customers....I think we will be making dresses for years :-) It really is a very positive thing to do in your spare time.
These two little dresses were made yesterday from some of the fabric one of my customers gave me. 
As promised here is a pic taken of M yesterday [32 weeks now so only 6 more to go til they induce her if she lasts that long!].....still in one piece after the excitement of Monday!So as you can see there are very few dull moments here at Sewing by Annie's. ReplyDeleteWhat a hump of a bump...how do they stay standing up I wonder. The dresses are just so fab and I even went and bought my bias binding yesterday. Will get the small fabrics off to you soon and definitely think about calling by when I'm up that way. Will also have a rummage in my under eaves fabric stash and see what I can find...

Oh! So glad that M's excitement was only a false alarm! No need to rush...I am glad that she is fine. 50 dresses in the post! Goodness! You must be so proud! The newest lot are cuties! You need a holiday from all the busy work (at least the cleaning bit! LOL!). Thanks for sharing your WOYWW -Amanda

What a talented and generous woman you are, those dresses are all amazing.
ReplyDeleteMy neice is now 30 weeks and looks a little bigger than M, but she is always in white and not sure if that helps slim the bump!

Cute, cute dresses for such a worthwhile cause. Well done to you and Twiglet - it's an amazing output. Thank you so much for the bias binding machine heads-up, I'm definitely going to investigate that as I think you get a smarter effect with your own co-ordinated bindings. ReplyDeleteSweet little dresses, and that BUMP! That's a bump and a 1/2. Lucky it hasn't been TOO hot this summer. Counting down now, I'll bet, in anticipation of all the pretties you can make for the babe.

As busy as I'm not Wipso - what opposites we are! Still,at least these last couple of weeks I'm excused...willbe glad to get back to feeling like doing anything!! The dresses are just marvellous - and so is M, she looks wonderful.
