Hello blogging friends.
Firstly if you haven't put your name down in the blog shop and would like to be in with a chance to win the first of our weekly gifts then please pop over here and leave us a comment saying what you would use the apron for and why you would like it. Good luck girls.
Now as you know this week is half term for a lot of schools so I'm sure I'm not alone at having extra company this week. My table has been taken over by my daughter but it's not fun activities for her cos she is the teacher not the pupil and it's book marking that she has taken the table over with. It's so lovely to have her company :-)
On my rail is a fun outfit this week. I've not made it and only had to sew new fastenings on the front but I thought you might like to see the Gruffalo outfit with it's purple spikes on his back. It's really brilliant and has been very cleverly made.
The other picture I've taken to share with you is one of the beautiful snowdrops I can see from my sewing room window. The churchyard opposite our house is full of them at the mo and they are all out in full bloom . How pretty.
Thats all from me today so pop over to Julia's blog and link up with pictures of what you're up to this week showing your creative spaces exposed :-) .....and don't forget to put your name down over in the blog shop for a chance to win yourself a crafting apron.

gorgeous picture of the snowdrops. Love the Gruffalo outfit but the desk ... reminds me of when I taught - not much fun spending your breaks catching up on marking. My sympathy to your daughter. #27
ReplyDeleteGood morning - glad to see you up with the lark as usual. My post will be a bit late today but I will catch up eventually. Those snowdrops are so lovely.

Snow drops look really pretty just in a drift. Looked out of my craft window this morning just in time to watch 'Mr Squirel' coming in for his supply of monkey nuts.
ReplyDeleteIs it for 'where the wild things are?' - the costume that is?

How nice to have such a beautiful picture of those gorgeous snowdrops just outside your sewing room window :)

What lovely snowdrops, they were out at Kew too a couple of weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteLove the gruffalo outfit! I got so busy looking at the apron I nearly forgot to come back and finish reading your post!!
what a lovely view you have! and oh my, what a great costume!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your daughter is keeping busy. Great outfit hanging up but the snowdrops stole the show for me, they are stunning and how lovely to have them just outside your window, Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, it’s such a shame your table is covered with your daughters marking…….maybe you can help her check them and then you can get down to something more creative together. Mind you, if the kids school books are anything like mine when I was younger there’ll be quite a lot of ‘creativeness’ inside the covers!
ReplyDeleteLove the garden photo.
I came back from my holiday to sight of my bulbs coming up. A welcome sign that Spring is just around the corner!

Glorious views of inside and out! Love the thought that you live opposite the churchyard - sounds so wonderfully rural and Jane Austen-ish (though I realise it may not be!).
ReplyDeleteLoving the snow drops so wonderful. I had a skip around the blog as I hadn't been by in a while lovely apron a good idea for a give away. Loving the covers for the wipes and pin cushions not to mention the cute Mr Tumbles all lovely work
ReplyDeleteLove Dawn xx
Thanks for the comment about the lace - often look back and wonder how I had a s much time to do what I did when my boys were small but have decided its an energy factor and not a time factor.

ReplyDeleteHow nice that you have a churchyard opposite your house that gives you such beautiful views as this one of the snowdrops!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the snowdrops - cheers me up no end to see these little beauties popping through to welcome the spring. The Gruffalo suit is fun - is it a child's or an adult I wonder. Elizabeth x #114
ReplyDeleteLove snowdrops. when I was a kid, lived on a farm and the 'big house' had a garden that us 'kids' could get into via a secret passageway between the high wall and the thick cover of trees. I's nip in the garden and pick loads of snowdrops for my mum. I often wonder if the secret way in is still there.. Love the monsters outfit. I still have a dragon in my attic.
ReplyDelete((Lyn)) Happy WOYWW
