Not something I do often...

After I'd posted little rabbit to Karen yesterday  I found myself with my knitting needles in my hands and just had to make another to match.  She is so cute but I think I will have to hide her on our tree before a little someone sees it and claims it for her own  :-) They knit up really quickly but knitting the limbs is a little fiddly because they are knit in the round on double ended needles and with only 4 stitches.  I like the way they take on their own character....the one ear on this one didn't want to stand up like the other one.

  3. Oh Annie, your little knitted friends are so cute - my jaw dropped though at the idea of knitting just 4 stitches in the round!. Actually I'm sure my mum had a sort of "pair" of needles that was like 2 short needles joined together with a piece of "tube" for want of a better word

  4. For once I am so glad I didn't win a giveaway!! I looked at the Little Cotton Rabbits page and decided to give making a bear a go - have done one, finishing another and will probably have a whole family by the end of the weekend - each one is an improvement on the last!!

No DP needles here so just knitting tiny strips & then sewing them up - seems to work ok.

  5. Awww... how sweet. They would make great ornaments... put a little scarf on or a sprig of greenery... a bell perhaps...

I like that one ear is different... makes it cute....

  8. I have been looking at all your recent knitting and hardly know which is the cutest!! Baby Jesus is amazing - it was the slightly spiky looking hair that made me smile, and the teddies and rabbits are so sweet. xx
