I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one this size although my family would never see me. How lucky you are. Your mystery plant looks like a Verbascum to me. If it is you'll get a tall yellow flower spike eventually. I shall watch with interest.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful space.
Hugs Lisaxlisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13533979776735822901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5769800031871534836.post-72510288583951034742011-05-19T12:33:49.110+01:002011-05-19T12:33:49.110+01:00Beautiful...love the green house and the garden pa...Beautiful...love the green house and the garden path...we have the room, now just to convince the DH it's a good idea.Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05330704779348205787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5769800031871534836.post-51809028686734708492011-05-15T17:50:14.267+01:002011-05-15T17:50:14.267+01:00Such a stunning garden Annie, really awesome!

I'm not positive, but your mystery plant may possibly be Burdock- as in dandelion & Burdock. if it is, it will get small, almost thistle like flowers, which form the burs- they hook onto everything!lol. What a wonderful garden, full of so many different moods and atmospheres, I thought mine was large but yours is just enormous in comparison, what lucky, lucky dogs!
I have found a Weigela just the same in my mum's garden, very pretty. I don't recognise your plant, but like another of your friends I too spent ages lovingly cultivating a giant mystery plant that turned out to be a weed - so I really hope this one isn't! My only guess is some form of giant verbascum as these tend to have silvery-grey leaves and huge flower spikes, there's one called Verbascum bombyciferum, you could google it and see if it looks similar, keep us posted on its progress! xxFelted Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17005584272340712901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5769800031871534836.post-49157278055806133022011-05-12T14:47:03.205+01:002011-05-12T14:47:03.205+01:00Hi Annie - you took the words out of my mouth in y...Hi Annie - you took the words out of my mouth in your gorgeous post here.
