Hello all. This is what's on my work desk today....
It's a huge pile of netted frufru cut off all the prom dresses I'd been doing....and it won't go to waste. It's the sort of fine net that big sister of mine has been using with her latest stitching creations. I've told her to shout when she wants some and hopefully one day I will have a little spare creative time to have a go too.
That's all I have to show you this week because for the last week I have been getting over another dose of shingles up behind my left ear. Thankfully I recognised the symptoms and went straight to see the Dr who gave me antiviral meds but I must say it certainly spolt a long weekend we had planned away in our caravan. We still went away but the antiviral tablets made me very drowsy, not helped by lack of sleep at night from the pain in my head and all the pain tablets needed. Thankfully it does seem to be improving now and the gland up the back of my head has gone down considerably.....onward and upward as they say.
Hugs,
Annie x

ReplyDeleteA pile of frou frou there, it’s fab that Jo has a use for it and it won’t be wasted! I’m sorry you’ve had shingles again, such bad luck, at least you got the anti virals early and hopefully that’ll curtail it a bit. Big hugs!

ReplyDeleteOh Annie, I remember my shingles only too well,. never had pain like it and never knew shingles carried so much pain. I do hope it clears soon for you, prayers being offered for a speedy recovery because I know what it is like. (I still check in the mirror if I get the slightest itch on my tummy)

So sorry to hear you have been poorly with shingles again Annie - I would think they would let you get the vaccination as you seem to be so prone to flair ups. Glad you caught it early this time. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteOh Annie, I'm so sorry you've been so poorly. Shingles is nasty. Hope the antiviral tablets are helping more by now. It's been many years, decades actually, since I last went to GCHQ. As a very young soldier, I found it impressive and would have happily moved in if I could. I love the photos of the willow animals from the campsite though it doesn't sound the best site you've been too. The photos of Peggy enjoying the caravan are lovely. Wishing you better. Hugs to you both. Ellie x #3
