WOYWW.....

Hello fellow bloggers.  Another week has passed and it's been another nail biting, stress busting, knitting week for me.  We had another viewing last Saturday that seemed to go very well and yesterday we had positive feedback so are keeping everything crossed that they come back with an offer for the house.....something good has got to happen soon....doesn't it?

So what I have to show you this week is....

The progress of the second quilty blanket....I've decided where the squares will go and have started to crochet them together before crocheting the border to match the other blanket.

I have now knit 10 squares in the gorgeous turquoise wool and have bought a pretty flecked wool to match plus some pretty pale creamy yellow to go with it.....don't you think this will make a pretty baby cot blanket?

Well folks that's about all from me creatively for this week cos I have been busy looking after those twinnie munchkins for an extra day this week while their other Granddad is in hospital with Pneumonia....get well soon Alan.  Thanks for calling by.  I will do my best to pay you a return visit when I can if you leave me a little hello message to let me know you've called in.
Hugs,
Annie x

  2. Oh, those are pretty colors. I really like the flecked wool. Not sure what a cot blanket is, but I can imagine what a baby blanket is. Yes, I'm rather clueless when it comes to children (grin).

I hope Alan gets better soon, and it frees your time a bit, although I know you never tire of those little munchkins.

Hope for some really, really good news soon on the house. Happy WOYWW from # 1. BTW, fingers, eyes, and toes still crossed.

  3. Sorry to see the knitting still - only because it means there isn't progress on the moving front - it will happen!! The results of your stress knitting are gorgeous though. Helen 7

  4. Aww thank you Annie. I'm determined to crack this dressmaking lark. I have everything crossed that your move goes ahead really soon. I remember that horrible feeling, of living in limbo, only too well. Loving your rainbow coloured blanket squares.

  5. Your squares are looking great - my favourite is that lush turquoise colour too. And those pastelly colours will make a delicious baby banket.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours...lol! In other words, please can we swap ATCs? Grin

  8. Hi Annie

Fingers and toes are still crossed here that the house move saga is soon over for you.

I still haven't finished my ATCs from last year so won't be joining in this year - unless I alter them to say WOYWW 4/5 :)

Have a lovely day, glorious sunshine here - wahoo!

    Hugs, Di xx

  9. Love to swap - must get on with some and then I will be ready.
Got all my fingers an toes crossed - a bit awkward walking at the moment and typing is a terrible chore with the resulting fingers. LOL
Sincerely hope we have some good news about you soon.
    Lots of Love

  16. Hi Annie, oh surely you are due a break and I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you this time. I find myself watching any report on house sales and prices in England with renewed interest whilst following your trials and tribulations. The second quilty blanket is lovely and I think the colours you've chosen for the cot blanket are gorgeous - and totally neutral too :) Have a great week, one that brings great news, Elizabeth x #78

  17. Hi Annie - I'd love to swap with you, and have sent an email. Your squares are coming on a treat - I do like blankets where the squares are edged individually with the same colour - it really brings them together, and white is perfect, as it seems to show them off. I really hope the sale goes through quickly for you - it is so emotionally draining. Take care, Chris x # 23

  22. Please add me to your list. I will send you my address. The ATCs for the Crop are done, but I still have some to finish for the swap proper, the ones that need posting. I hope you soon get your house move sorted. A friend of mine has been in the middle of moving for over 12 months now, and is now in rented accommodation for the duration, and going absolutely nuts. They are now on hold yet again as the solicitors for one of the chain are now in court charged with misappropriation of funds, so t all has to start all over again. xx Maggie #20
